Custom Gamepad Mapping in Gamearena

Customize your controls like a pro. With gamepad mapping, you can assign any key to trigger one or more controller actions perfect for personalizing your play style. It is especially for multiplayer gaming and remote user want to connect their keyboard simulating a gamepad.

SETUP OF MAPPING PROFILES

1. Open your browser and go to app.gamearena.tech

2. You can access the Mapping Profiles in one of two ways:

• Option 1: Click the Settings icon at the top right corner of the page, then select Key Mapping from the menu. 

• Option 2: During streaming Gamearena icon -> Settings ->  Mapping Profiles.

3. Once inside, you can access and customize both Keyboard Mapping and Gamepad Mapping profiles to suit your gameplay style.

SETUP

Step 1 - Create new profile

• Click on "New" to create a new profile for your mappings 
• You can edit the name of the profile by clicking on the name and editing the name in place

Step 2 - Select Gamepad mapper 

• Change the mapping option to gamepad by clicking on the switch mapping type button on the profile 
• Accept the warning on the screen to switch to gamepad mapping

Step 3 - Add mappings

• Click “Key In” and choose the keyboard key you want to use.
• Click “Key Out” and select the gamepad button(s) you want that key to trigger.
• Use the ➕ icon to add multiple gamepad buttons for combo actions.
• Hit “APPLY” to save and activate your mapping.

You can now test the mapping in game or preview it using the virtual gamepad on screen.

To create a new profile or switch profiles, use the Profile Dropdown at the top of the mapping screen.
